and pensions
drawing protests
in secret annexes
annually expressed

outright hostilities
blurring fact and opinion
open caskets of mis-
understandings

borne elaborately
venturing guesses
like deceased relevances
being corrected under duress
in the mid-sections
of postcarded Americans
as practicing marionettes
on global stage sets
when intermissions end

while waiting for lefty becoming non-responsive
to complements left unsaid pursuant to menacing enemies
