no matter

the sun's
coming up
faster having
fallen back
an hour

being draped
in heavy fabric
as seen through glass
sipping cocktails
getting first crack

leaving no doubt
sticking tongues out
via frictionless travel

with the courage to swear
as waves come crashing
young and barely clad

while aiming cameras
not giving a damn
lights flashing

newscasts blaring
small-sized American flags
seen against volcanic flares
as lava cools ticking glassily...
